While the Customers area of Project 2 Payment was primarily built for quickly adding customers to new projects and invoices, you can also use the information as a customer database to help manage and grow your business.
Here are just a few suggestions:
- Review the list periodically to keep a pulse on your customer base. Identify the regulars who have been with you for years. Flag first-timers and reach back out to find ways to win their business again.
- Create mailing lists for sales and marketing communications.
- Use project history to see seasonal trends and project future workload.
- For regular customers, send proactive reminders so they don't forget to get on your schedule.
When you are ready, this information is always available to pull from the Project 2 Payment business portal. Simply go to Customers in the left sidebar and click on Export Customers in the upper right corner to export customer names, email addresses, and phone numbers.
