A payment page is a quick and easy way for customers to send payment whenever it works best for them without having to create a project or send an invoice. Simply add the link to a page on your website or include it in the body of an email.
First, go to Settings in the left sidebar and click Payment Page in the navigation bar. When making any changes, don't forget to save before you navigate away from this page.
On/Off
To turn on your unique payment page, simply change the toggle to On. Turning the page on and off does not change the URL. However, customers will not be able to access the page if it is Off in Settings.
When On, your unique payment page URL will appear. When you are ready, use the Copy icon to quickly grab the entire link and paste it wherever you will be using it, whether you are adding it to your own website or including it in the body of an email template.
Invoice Number
Decide whether you want an Invoice Number field to appear on your page.
- Off = the Invoice Number field will not appear on your page.
- Optional = the Invoice Number field will appear on your page and can be left blank.
- Required = the Invoice Number field will appear on your page and customers are required to enter something in that field to submit a payment. Please keep in mind there is not a lookup function on this field so the information entered does not have to be correct to submit a payment.
Notes
Decide whether you want a Notes field to appear on your page so customers can add comments.
- Off = the Notes field will not appear on your page.
- Optional = the Notes field appears on your page and can be left blank.
- Required = the Notes field appears on your page and customers are required to enter something in that field to submit a payment.
