Full access users can update information for themselves and other users.
- Click Merchant Portal in the left sidebar (desktop) or hamburger menu (mobile).
- A new window will open with the login page for your merchant account.
- Enter the username and password for your Merchant Portal Login. This is different than the primary login you use to access Project 2 Payment. (See Why two logins? for more information)
- Click the Log In button.
- Go to Profile in the upper right corner.
- The profile panel contains your user information as well as information about the business organized in section tabs on the left side of the panel. Locate the section that needs review/updating. (see below for more details).
- If you need to make changes, click the Edit button in the upper right corner.
- Make the necessary changes. If you are not able to modify a field, the information cannot be updated in the portal. Please reach out to support@project2payment.com for assistance.
- Click ✓ in the upper right corner to save your changes or click ✕ to cancel.
Explanation of each section tab.
- Login - User information. This is where you can change usernames and reset passwords. You can also whitelist or blacklist email addresses to lock down user access.
- Business - General information about the business.
- Owner - Information about the owner/signer on the merchant account.
- Account - General information about your merchant account including your Merchant ID, the date the application was submitted, the date the account was approved, the MCC code, and current account status (Active/Inactive).
- Banking - confirm the last 4 digits of the routing and account number being used for funding. This is the primary bank account and all funding activity is linked to the primary account. If you need to change the bank account, click the pen to Edit. Do not add a new account. You cannot mark a new bank account as primary so adding a new bank account will not reroute your deposits to the new bank account.
- Documents- access copies of the Merchant Terms and Conditions, Bank Disclosures, and the information provided on your Merchant Application.
