The Payment Methods tab of a customer record displays all saved payment methods.
- Use Search to locate specific payment methods.
- Actions = click one of the 3 buttons to edit, take a quick payment, or delete the payment method.
- Name on Account = account holder's name. This may be different than the customer name.
- Type = displays an icon that represents the payment method. If credit card, the card brand logo will appear.
- Last 4 = last 4 digits on the account number. For security reasons and PCI compliance, all account numbers must be encrypted.
- Exp = expiration date (credit cards only).
The Take Payment action in the upper right corner automatically redirects you to the Take Payments form and populates any known information for the customer to make things even quicker for you.
The Add Method action is used to add new payment methods.
