If you enabled payment processing in Project 2 Payment, you have two different logins associated with your account. We understand that this might be confusing, so we hope this article will provide some clarity.
Primary Account Login
This is what you use to access the software, which is where you create projects, send invoices, collect payments, and manage your monthly subscription.
- The login page is https://app.project2payment.com
- Your username is your email address
- You created the password when you signed up
Merchant Portal Login
This is what you use to access you access your merchant account. It is a different website powered by the processing bank (Payrix) to view account details, deposits, processing fees, and customer disputes.
- The login page is https://funding.project2payment.com
- Your username is not your email address
- The password is created after the merchant account is finalized.
Shortly after electronic payments are enabled in the software, you should receive an email from support@project2payment.com to confirm your new user account. This new user account is your Merchant Portal Login. You must confirm the email address associated with your merchant account before you can use the Merchant Portal. The link will expire so it is important to act quickly.
- Locate the username for your Merchant Portal login in the body of the email.
- Click the Confirm Email button.
- You will be taken to https://funding.project2payment.com. Do not enter your Primary Account username and password on this page. Use the Forgot Password link to create a custom password.
- Go back to https://funding.project2payment.com and use your Merchant Portal username with the new password you just created to access the Merchant Portal.
We highly recommend naming the bookmark and password as Payrix or Merchant Portal to avoid confusion with the primary login for the software.
