The Take Payments module is the fastest way to collect a payment. Unlike other areas of Project 2 Payment where payments are entered, you are not required to have an existing project, invoice, or customer to get started.
- Go to Take Payments in the left sidebar.
- Mark whether the payment you are taking is Non-taxable or Taxable.
- Select Card or eCheck for the Payment Method.
- Complete all fields your customer's payment information.
- Enter billing address associated with the payment method entered.
- Enter one email address for the Receipt Email. Use the Add Email link to send to multiple addresses. See Set your business settings if you would like to receive copies of your customers' receipts.
- Click Process Payment.
All payments processed through Take Payments can be viewed in the Payment Activity section.
