If there is no payment activity on the merchant account after 12 full months, the account could be flagged by the processor and closed for inactivity.
Deactivation of your merchant account does not cancel your Project 2 Payment account; it just removes the ability to take credit card and eCheck payments.
If you process your first payment more than 13 months after payment processing was enabled and the payment gets an error, it is possible your account was deactivated on the back end. Please contact support@project2payment.com right away so we can review your account.
If you cancel a Project 2 Payment account that had payments enabled and you decide to come back, please reach out to support@project2payment.com. We may be able to reactivate your previous account and merchant account so you do not have to go through the signup process again.
