A Payment Policy link appears in the footer of any anonymous web page such as a payment page, project request/contact page along with our Privacy Policy and Terms of Use links.
This is your payment policy so, if nothing is added in Settings, the page that opens is blank.
Create A Policy
Creating a payment policy is essential to streamline your business operations, foster trust, and ensure timely payments from customers. When you have a clear policy, your customers know when payment is due and can prepare to have the funds available. Customers are more likely to comply when they understand your expectations, which leads to a positive long-term relationship. Additionally, a well-crafted policy provides you with legal protection if a customer fails to pay for services rendered. Be sure to include specific information about important details surrounding deposits, cancellations, refunds, etc.
Add Your Policy
- Go to Settings in the left sidebar (desktop) or hamburger menu (mobile).
- Click the Payment Settings tile.
- Add text for your company's payment policy (maximum 1,000 characters). Light formatting options allow you to emphasize certain elements and add hyperlinks.
- Click Save to publish your changes.
As soon as the policy is saved, content on the Payment Policy link will update.
