Why do I have 2 usernames? The username and password you use to get into Project 2 Payment will not work for the Merchant Portal. We understand that this might be confusing, so we hope this article will provide some clarity. The Merchant Portal requires a different username and password because it is powered by our partner, Payrix. This section is limited to accounts with payment processing enabled for easy access to your merchant account. |

What is each username for? Your primary login is what you use to access the software. This is where you create projects, send invoices, collect payments, and manage your monthly subscription.
The Merchant Portal is direct access your merchant account provided by our partner, Payrix. This is where you view merchant account details, deposit information, processing fees, and customer disputes.

When do I get my Merchant Portal login information? Shortly after you enable payments, you will receive an email to confirm your new user account. This is a 2nd username and password you will use to access the Merchant Portal in the app; it does not replace the app's username and password. |

Confirm your email address and set a password Shortly after electronic payments are enabled in the software, you will receive an email from support@project2payment.com to confirm your new user account. This new user account is your Merchant Portal Login. You must confirm the email address associated with your merchant account before you can use the Merchant Portal. The link will expire so it is important to act quickly.
